A goal plays a great part in our life. They help us achieve excellence in life. Most of our behaviors are intended to achieve certain goals and desires. The most essential step toward success is to create well-defined outcomes, basically answering the question “what do I want?” And then mentally aligning towards it. Cognitive behavior hypnotherapy( CBH) and NLP techniques help in taking inspired actions, resolving problems, improving performance, and achieving your goal.
My approach to helping my clients with Goal achievement is based on Robert Dilts's NLP pattern-the Walt Disney Strategy. It basically deals with The Dreamer, The Realist, and The Critic within all of us.
We start with SMART goals, and then we would be exploring your motivation strategies and do a SWOT analysis in problem-solving, enhancing your self-efficacy and confidence. You would be working on Physical(actions)and Psychological (Thoughts and feelings) levels. We would be using imagery techniques to align your unconscious mind towards your goal.
Studies support the view that mental rehearsal improves performance. The more familiar the skills rehearsed and realistic the imagery the more likely achievement of goals.
